WELCOME TO TORAH LEARNING ONLINE
Connecting and inspiring to support your child's growth
Helping students to love learning Torah is my passion. My approach is one that builds skills and fosters confidence. I create an interactive learning environment where students feel safe to be themselves and strive to do their best. Together, we'll set goals and outline the steps to achieve them.
WHAT YOU GET:
Students in grades K-12 will have an opportunity to build skills in areas of challenge throughout the Torah studies curriculum. Homework support or strengthening Kriah skills (Hebrew reading) or a weekly Parsha class are some of the services that could be provided. Your child could work on building confidence and competence in decoding and understanding Chumash. We could set up a summer course of study so that skills remain sharp when school is not in session. Your initial consultation (at no cost) will allow us the opportunity to set goals for your child. Please reach out to me to discuss your child's individual needs.
WHAT WILL MY CHILD NEED?
Students and I will communicate using the Zoom platform on a computer. We will also use an interactive online whiteboard (that I will provide) that we can both write on. A headset will help cut down on background sounds. Your child will probably also use a pencil and paper to take notes.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE SESSIONS?
Session frequency depends on the child's needs and goals. Call me to discuss what would be best for your individual child.
HOW WILL MY CHILD'S PROGRESS BE ASSESSED?
We will set up an initial complimentary consultation before I even meet your child. At that time, we'll set goals and objectives. After five sessions with your child, we'll meet again (at no cost) to evaluate progress and set new goals.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Tutoring is a commitment of time for both the student and myself. Showing up to each session in a timely manner helps your child feel committed to his/her learning. Please let me know if you need to cancel as soon as you're able. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hour notice will be charged in full.
An experienced educator, I have had the opportunity to touch the lives of many students on all levels of Torah study in grades K-8. A recipient of the Milken Jewish Educator Award and a former day school principal, my passion is inspiring young students to love learning Torah. I believe wholeheartedly that cultivating relationships with students is the key to success.
